• The first story: "Bionic eye gives blind man sight"

This story is about Ron one man who is not able to see. Ron hasn't been able to see for 30 years. Now there is a new operation which we will allow somebody with this condition to see again.

This operation consist to put bionic eye. The aim is these bionic eyes send a message to the brain like the real eyes. That could be possible when the electrodes are stimulated.

This problem touch a lot of people in US. this intervention have been done 18 time.

• The second story: "Mountain rescue in Alps played out on Twitter"

This story is about a man who dead when he was skiing. The event take place last week. Rob William(29 years old) is a young British who work for a music company, he was a co- founder of this company.

there was a bad weather and the rescue were not able to found him. His friends tried to phone him but he didn't answer. So we found him 7 hours after the accident. But he was dead.

• My opinion:

I think the both are interesting but there are a lot of accident in the mountain so that is common. It's tragic but each years few people dead(die) in the Alps.

so I think the first story is more interesting because the new operation will be able to help people who can't see.

london with my bestfriend

last week, my best friend Jules came to see me. during the week we went to Brighton, but the week end we decided to spent our time in London so we booked a room in the hotel "BOKA" hotel, then we bought our train ticket. We took the train Friday afternoon and we arrived in London at 5 p.m. The evening we looked for the Hard Rock cafe but we didn't find it so we ate in an Italian restaurant. Saturday we went to Camden Market and after to Oxford street to do some shopping. We went to the Big Ben.

I spent a good time. I like London to do some shopping this town is cool.

prediction for 2009

1. There will be an assassination attempt on Barack Obama => i think this prediction (may realize it) (may happen). But i'm not sure> i don't see why Obama will be killed.


2. There will be a major terrorist attack in Dubai => i disagree with that, i think if some people know this information he must say that at the authorities to fight against this act.


3. Victoria Beckham will become pregnant with a long awaited daughter. And Jordan will announce she’s pregnant too. =>i think why not i don't have opinion about this prediction.


4. There will be a knife attack on a top celebrity => I think this prediction will probably realize because today we live in strange world where some people are crazy and do whatever.

My brithday.....

The second of february I have been 20 years-old. It's was snowing this day and we didn't have uni. So with my french friends we play snow and we did a snowball fight.

After that each came back in his room because we were wet.

The afternoon I went to the Sabrina's room to watch a movie with Marion.

The evening we had organized a party in my kitchen. First we had decided to go in the night club but as it snowed there wasn't bus. So we've satyed in my kitchen. Everybody take their booze. One english studiant did the DJ. We drunk, we danced, we joked, let us be there we spend good time. To finish the night we went to the Sabrina's kitchen in York House with her neighbours. We did a joke with alcoohl and with a dice.

The role is:

• If you make a pair you drink dry bottom
• If you make 7 you drink one to fill

After that I came back in my room to sleep and the next day I went in the uni. I was tired but I alwyas remember my 20's party.......

last saturday I went to London with Jerome ( a French Studiant).






We went by train, we arrived at 12h30. We went to the Cadem Town.


It's a big market where you can buy and find a lot things. We can buy thing which don't find in the shop.


There are a lot fast food. We ate in an Chinise fast food.


This place remind me when I went in Thailand. I went to Bangkok I went in the big market "Chatuchak ".





Then I went to the piccadily circus. I went to the shop Abercrombie. Then we went to Harrolds shop.

when I went to Brighton,I did shopping. I went to the Churchill Square. I did a lot of shop like H&M,top shop, new look. In France there aren't Top shop and new look. I went to GAP, American apparel,and other shop. The prices are the same in France,so I don't buy a lot of thing.

But when my mother is going to see me with my brother we are going to go to London to do a lot of shopping for my birthday and my brothers birthday.

I'm eager to do shopping with their because it's always funny and we spend a good time together. I love their.

When they are going to see me I'm going to show all things.

brighton is a nice town and I know my falimy will like this town.

the studiant life

Here in England, I have discovered a new way of life.
In France,I live with my family and I don't have my independence. I do what I want, but not all time because I'm not alone. At home my mother does the shopping, the housework and I often help her, but it isn't the same thing when you live alone.
Here in Brighton I must do my shopping, cook, tidy my room, wash my clothes etc...
This life it's different for me, but I like this experience and this independence.Sometimes my family miss me, and I feel homesick.
I think when I go back in France, it'll be difficult to live with my family again, because I have experienced being on my own.

LoNdOn!!!

Last weekend I went to London with my friends Marion and Sabrina.

We took the train from Falmer station to Victoria. Over there my cousin came to meet us and we went to his home.

The first night, we wanted come back home early my cousin,so we had to take the taxi but the driver didn't know his address. My cousin lives near to the Canada water station where the taxi dropped us. Then we had to walk 10 minutes, and we asked where is a MC Donald with American decoration. ( it's there we had eaten at the evening). When we arrived at this MC Donald we found the way to come back at home. This experience was very funny after because when we have lost we were afraid.

Saturday we visited London. We went to Piccadilly circus and after we did shopping on Oxford Street. We went to Abercrombie.It's a big shop. The clothes are very beautiful and nice.

We have been lucky because the weather was good.

The night we went in Night club. The ministry of sound because there was BOB SINCLAR.This night club is big there are 5 different rooms and in each there are different music. There were a lot of people. The sound was good. I spent a good time.

During my weekend I discovered one town which didn't know. London is a beautiful town, where there are a beautiful architecture. People was sociable and helpful. I like this town to do shopping and because it's pleasent city.
